The Embassy of Sweden in Ukraine said this in a post on the X social media platform, Ukrinform reports.
"The Swedish government will provide 50 million SEK to the NATO assistance fund for Ukraine. This assistance will be used for procurement of military equipment, medicines, fuel, demining and personnel training," the embassy said.
Earlier reports said that Ukraine and Sweden were discussing joint work in the field of innovation and the possible transfer of Gripen fighter aircraft to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Japan earlier decided to provide $37 million to the NATO trust fund to buy drone detection systems for Ukraine.
