Russian forces launch 76 strikes on Kherson region in past day

Russian troops carried out 76 shelling attacks on Ukraine's southern Kherson region on January 20.
Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the regional military administration, said this in a post on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
"Over the past day, the enemy launched 76 shelling attacks and fired 365 shells from mortars, artillery, MLRS, tanks, and UAVs. The enemy fired seven shells at the city of Kherson," he said.
According to Prokudin, the Russian military targeted residential areas in the region's towns and villages.
No civilian casualties were recorded, the regional governor said.
