Eight Russian warships remain deployed in the Black Sea, including a missile carrier.
That’s according to the Ukrainian Navy command, Ukrinform reports.
"There are eight enemy warships in the Black Sea, including a Kalibr cruise missile carrier, with a total salvo of up to eight missiles, as well as a ship in the Sea of Azov, and one in the Mediterranean Sea," the statement reads.
According to the Ukrainian Navy, 13 vessels passed through the Kerch Strait toward the Sea of Azov in the course of a day in Russia’s interest, of which four were moving from the Bosphorus Strait; 17 ships passed toward the Black Sea.
As Ukrinform reported on Saturday, Russia replaced a smaller missile carrier in the Black Sea with the Admiral Essen frigate as part of rotation.
