Russian strike on Kyiv: latest developments

As a result of a Russian missile strike, a number of vehicles parked in Kyiv’s Sviatoshynskyi district, went ablaze, at least one residential building and a daycare facility sustained damage.

That’s according to Kyiv’s military administration, Ukrinform reports.

"The details are being clarified. The emergency services have scrambled to the scene," the report said.

According to tentative reports, a residential building and a daycare facility sustained damage.

So far, one person was injured in the Solomianskyi district.

An explosive wave shattered windows in an apartment block in the same district, wrote Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko.

Also, “a fire was recorded in several apartments of a residential building in the Solomiansky district. Emergency services are on their way."

As reported earlier, a series of explosions rocked Ukraine’s capital Kyiv Tuesday morning as the city came under a Russian missile attack. Air defense forces are engaging incoming targets.

Kharkiv was also subjected to a Russian missile strike in the early hours of Tuesday. At least one residential building was damaged.
