Three people injured in rocket attack in Kyiv region

At least three people were injured in Kyiv region as a result of a missile attack by Russian troops, and fragments of enemy missiles damaged civilian objects, including multi-storey buildings.

The head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration Ruslan Kravchenko posted this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

"The region repelled another massive enemy attack. This morning our region was attacked by missiles. According to preliminary information, there were no hits to residential, civilian or critical infrastructure. We are grateful to our air defense forces for the reliable protection of the Ukrainian sky," Kravchenko said.

He added that, according to preliminary data, as of 8:30 a.m., three people were injured as a result of the fall of Russian missile fragments. They are being provided with first aid.

In several communities of the region, three high-rise buildings, private houses, outbuildings, ten cars and a cafe were damaged. Firefighters are extinguishing a fire in a parking lot near a residential complex.

All operational services are working at the scene. More information on the consequences of the missile attack will be provided later.

"We are working. We are eliminating the consequences of the attack. Everyone will receive the necessary assistance," assured the head of the RMA.

As Ukrinform reported, on the morning of January 23, Russian troops launched a massive missile attack on Ukraine. During the air raid, explosions were heard, in particular, in Kyiv and the region.

At least ten people were injured in the capital as a result of the Russian missile attack, including a 13-year-old boy. One person was reported dead.
