Heat and water supply restored to all buildings damaged by shelling in Kharkiv
Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov said this on the air of the United News telethon, Ukrinform reports.
"256 houses were damaged during these terrible attacks. All circuits have already been closed. In addition, we have supplied heat to all the houses. Unfortunately, six houses remain without electricity supply because transformer substations were destroyed. Oblenergo is working to restore the power supply and promises that it will be restored by Sunday. Water supply is fully connected to all affected buildings," informed Terekhov.
The mayor added that in the apartment building where the entrance was destroyed by the shelling, 30 apartments are connected to the heating system, while 15 houses remain without heat. An instrumental examination will be conducted in the building to decide how to restore the entrance.
Terekhov also said that there are currently 30 people in hospitals who have been injured by enemy shelling.
As reported, on January 23, at 4 and 7 am, Russian troops launched rocket attacks on the Kyiv and Saltovsky districts of Kharkiv. 10 people were killed, including a child, and more than 60 people were injured. 112 apartment buildings and several private houses were damaged.
On January 24, at about 22:00, Russian troops launched rocket attacks on the center of Kharkiv and the Kholodnohirsky district. The destruction of buildings, offices, shops, and catering establishments were recorded. Nine people were injured, including a 4-year-old child.
