Vinnytsia City Council allocates almost ₴48 million to support defenders

On January 26, at a regular session, the Vinnytsia City Council allocated almost UAH 48 million to support the defenders.

This was announced by Vinnytsia Mayor Serhiy Morgunov in Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"Almost UAH 48 million to support our defenders. One of the most important decisions of the first session in the new year 2024 is aimed at strengthening the country's defense capabilities," Morgunov wrote.

According to him, the funds allocated from the community budget will be used to purchase special vehicles, equipment for military training, communications equipment and other ammunition necessary for the army, as well as to carry out repair work in military units.

In addition, the deputies allocated funds for the purchase of an elevator and other equipment for the rehabilitation unit for wounded soldiers.

As reported, this year Vinnytsia City Council plans to spend almost a billion UAH to support the military.
