Enemy massively shelled Krasnohorivka with Grad rocket launchers, woman was killed

The town of Krasnohorivka was subjected to massive enemy shelling with Grad rocket launchers, killing a 60-year-old local resident.

This was reported on Facebook by the head of the Donetsk regional military administration (RMA) Vadym Filashkin, Ukrinform reports.

"One person died as a result of numerous shelling of Krasnohorivka. Today the city was subjected to massive shelling from Grad and 152-caliber cannons - a 60-year-old woman became a victim of the Russians," the head of the region wrote.

He noted that Krasnohorivka has been on the front line for ten years and remains one of the hottest spots in the region. Therefore, living in the town means being exposed to mortal danger every day.

Filashkin once again called on all residents to leave the shelled region.

"Take care of yourself and your loved ones! Evacuate!" the head of the RMA urged.

As reported, the Donetsk region is under constant shelling by Russian troops, almost every day the enemy kills and injures civilians, destroys residential and administrative buildings, energy and infrastructure facilities. Donetsk region has the largest length of the front line, which is about 300 kilometers.

As of January 2024, about 524,000 people live in the government-controlled area of Donetsk Oblast. The evacuation is ongoing.
