Four casualties in Kharkiv region amid Russian strikes Sunday

Four people were injured across Kharkiv region on Sunday as a result of Russian shelling.

That’s according to Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, who broke the news on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

A 09:18 on Sunday, Russia hit the settlement of Staryi Saltiv, Chuhuiv district, where two residents were injured and a civilian vehicle was damaged.

At 10:00, the invaders hit Borivska Andriivka in the Izium district with a gliding bomb. A house was damaged and a fire broke out. Two casualties were reported in the area.

At around 10:20, a civilian was injured in an explosion in Vovchansk. The victim was hospitalized.

At 17:10, Cherkaski Tyshki in the Kharkiv district came under Russian fire. A farm building caught fire as a result of the strike.

At 20:30, a residential building went ablaze in Borova, Izium District, after being hit by a Russian drone.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, in the early hours of Monday, Russia launched a missile attack targeting the Chuhuiv district in Kharkiv region. A recreation facility was hit. At least one civilian was killed and two – injured.

Ukraine’s Defense Forces repelled Russian assaults in the areas of Lyptsi and Starytsia.
