Ukraine downs two Russian missiles over Dnipro: debris leave 6 wounded, including infant
That’s according to the chief of the regional administration, Serhii Lysak, Ukrinform reports.
According to the official, missile debris caused damage to civil infrastructure. A fire broke out and casualties were reported.
Children are among those affected: a one-month-old boy is in satisfactory condition and a 17-year-old boy is in hospital in a moderate condition.
Three women, aged 32, 36, and 56, and a 68-year-old man were also injured. One of the women is hospitalized. Medics assess her condition as moderate.
Fifteen vehicles sustained damage. A number of private households, apartment blocks, and a hospital had multiple windows shattered by the blast wave.
The emergency services scrambled to eliminate the consequences of the strike, Lysak noted.
He added that the Russian invasion army last night hit the town of Nikopol using kamikaze drones. The attacks brought no casualties.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, the total combat losses the Russian invasion army has suffered in Ukraine since the invasion have amounted to an estimated 512,420, including 1,290 over the past day alone, as per the estimates from the General Staff.
