Four people injured in Kharkiv region due to Russian shelling over past day
The head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, posted this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
According to him, three houses and a car were damaged in Kozacha Lopana of the Dergachiv community as a result of shelling.
In Kamyanka of the Izium community, a woman was injured when she stepped on a PFM-1 (anti-personnel landmine) "Pelustka" mine.
In Yurchenkove of the Vovchansk community, a house, an outbuilding and a garage were burned by shelling, while another house and an outbuilding were destroyed.
According to Sinegubov, a car was burning in Vovchansk as a result of the shelling, and a man was injured. A woman was injured as a result of an FPV drone dropping a munition.
In Kucherivka, Kupyansk district, a feed store and outbuildings of a pig farm were on fire due to shelling.
In Zarichne, Chuhuiv district, three one-storey wooden houses, a two-storey building and a dining room caught fire on the territory of a recreation centre.
In Staryi Saltov, Chuhuiv district, Russians shelled a recreation centre. There were no casualties.
In Vovchanski Khutory, Chuhuiv district, a man was injured as a result of shelling.
According to the head of the regional administration, five forest fires are being extinguished in Kharkiv region on a total area of over 3,000 hectares, of which four fires are localised on an area of 23 hectares. In total, more than 100 people and over 30 pieces of equipment are involved in the firefighting operations.
One firefight continues in the Kharkiv sector.
The number of combat engagements in the Kupyansk sector increased to 13. Five attacks were successfully repelled by the Defence Forces, and eight more are ongoing near Sinkivka, Novoselivka, Novoyehorivka and Stelmakhivka.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, according to Syniehubov, Russian troops have set up a filtration camp in the temporarily occupied part of Vovchansk, and the city itself is being destroyed by shelling and is becoming uninhabitable.
