War update: 38 combat clashes since day-start

Since the beginning of Wednesday, 38 combat engagements have already been recorded on the Ukrainian battlefields since the beginning of the day.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook, Ukrinform saw.

According to the update the Russians launched two airstrikes with the use of six gliding bombs, and 550 artillery strikes on the positions of Ukrainian troops. The enemy also employed 19 kamikaze.

Kharkiv axis: the battle in the Vovchansk area has been ongoing since the beginning of the day. The situation is under Ukraine’s control as defenders pursue efforts to strengthen their frontline positions.

According to updated data, during the past day, the enemy lost 127 personnel in this axis, 41 of them KIAs. In addition, the Defense Forces destroyed a tank, four artillery systems, 15 UAVs, 15 vehicles, and six units of specialized equipment. Two ammunition depots and 21 dugouts were also hit.

Lyman axis: in the Serebryansk Forest, a Russian attack has been repelled. At the same time, hostilities continue in the Nevske and Serebryansk Forestry areas.

Siversk axis: three combat clashes today: two attacks were repelled in the Verkhnokamianske area while the fighting near the village of Vyimka continues.

Kramatorsk axis: the situation remains tense - since the beginning of the day, five combat clashes have been reported near Andriivka and Klishchiivka where the enemy saw no gains.

Toretsk axis: the invaders are unsuccessfully trying to get closer to the Ukrainian positions in the Bila Hora area. The battle continues.

Pokrovsk axis: Russian troops are attempting to advance in the areas of Novo-oleksandrivka, Novoselivka Persha, and Sokil. One attack has been repelled and five more are in progress. The situation is under Ukraine’s control.

Defense forces inflict systemic fire damage on the invasion force. Yesterday, the Russians suffered signigicant losses, including more than 450 invaders killed and wounded, four tanks, seven armored combat vehicles, three artillery systems, 16 vehicles, five UAVs, and three EW systems destroyed.

Also, two ammunition depots and a fuel depot were obliterated.

Kurakhove axis: Ukraine’s Defense Forces are repelling an enemy assault in the Heorhiivka area.

Vremivka axis: since day-start on Wednesday, there have been two skirmishes near Urozhaine. Russian troops, with the support of a tank and two IFVs, tried to break through the Ukrainian defenses. A tank and an infantry fighting vehicle were destroyed. Another IFV retreated. The battle continues as Ukrainian soldiers keep engaging enemy assault groups.

Orikhiv axis: an attempt by the Russians to advance in the area of ​​Mala Tokmachka saw no success.

Prydniprovska axis: the enemy does not stop trying to dislodge Ukrainian units from their bridgehead in the Krynky area. The Russian attack failed.

In the rest of the axes, Russian invaders ran no active operations.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, 110 combat clashes took place at the front last day.

On June 4, the Armed Forces of Ukraine hit 15 Russian manpower clusters, a command post, and three air defense systems.
