Russian army attacks village in Chernihiv region, damaging houses, agricultural machinery

The Russian army has shelled the center of a border village in Ukraine's northern Chernihiv region, damaging residential buildings and agricultural machinery.

That's according to the regional police, Ukrinform reports.

"Today, the Russian army once again shelled the civilian population of the Novhorod-Siverskyi district. A number of residential buildings in the center of the village came under attack," the report says.

The police established that the shelling had destroyed one residential building and substantially damaged at least four others.

In addition, agricultural machinery was damaged in artillery strikes.

No people were hurt in the attack.

The Novhorod-Siverskyi district police are documenting the consequences of the attack. Information about the event will be entered into the Unified Register of Pretrial Investigations under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (violation of the laws and customs of war).
