There have been 67 combat engagements in frontline, most of them in Pokrovske and Kurakhove sectors

Since the beginning of the day, 67 combat engagements have taken place on the frontline, more than half of them in the Pokrovske and Kurakhove sectors.

According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook.

In the Kupyansk sector, Ukrainian soldiers repelled a total of seven attacks by the invaders. The battle near Synkivka is ongoing. Russian terrorists launched air strikes near Stepova Novoselivka and Kupyansk, dropping four guided aerial bombs each. The invaders fired at Novoyehorivka with multiple rocket launchers.

In the Pokrovske sector, the enemy made 27 attempts to break through Ukrainian defences. 19 attacks were repelled. Fighting continues in the areas of Novooleksandrivka, Novopokrovske and Novoselivka Persha.

Confirmed enemy losses in the area currently amount to 134 irrecoverable casualties, and another 175 Russian invaders were wounded. Four artillery systems and four vehicles were destroyed. A tank, a mortar and seven enemy vehicles were damaged.

In the Kurakhove sector, Ukrainian troops repelled five enemy attacks in the vicinity of Krasnohorivka and Heorhiivka. In total, the Russians made 10 attempts to advance, losing 30 men killed and wounded. Information on enemy losses is being updated. Ukrainian troops also destroyed an enemy cannon, two vehicles, a tank, an engineering vehicle and two armoured personnel carriers.

In the Vremivsk sector, the enemy tried to improve the tactical situation in the areas of Staromayorske and Zavetne Bazhannia. It was unsuccessful. He launched an air strike with four CABs in the area of Yelizavetivka.

The situation in other areas remained unchanged, the General Staff of the Armed Forces summed up.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, Russians have reduced their activity in Kharkiv region, but continue to regroup and make attempts to move deeper into the region.
