War update: Russia’s fiercest attacks on Pokrovsk axis
That’s according to the General Staff of Ukraine’s Armed Forces, Ukrinform reports.
Russian troops launched from their territory a number of mortar attacks on the positions of Ukraine’s Defense Forces in he Chernihiv and Sumy regions, including near Popivka, Vilchiky, Khrinivka, and Novodmytrivka.
Kharkiv axis: fighting continues in the area of Hlyboke as the third attack has been unleashed in this sector since day-start.
The Russian army dropped aerial guided bombs from Shebekino on the areas of Bilyi Kolodiaz and Tykhe. The invaders also attacked the Vovchanskyi Khutory area using unguided air missiles.
Kupiansk axis: the total number of enemy attacks reached seven, with two of them still ongoing in the Nevske and Pishchane areas.
Lyman axis: combat engagements are being reported in the Serebryansky forest area. Since day-start, Russian troops have already five times tried to advance on this part of the front.
Kramatorsk axis: the invaders are also active in the area, namely near Ivanivske and Klishchiivka. A total of seven combat clashes took place on this part of the front today.
Pokrovsk axis: as of now, Ukrainian defenders are repelling Russian attacks in the proximity of Yasnoborodivka, Karlivka, Novo-oleksandrivka, and Novopokrovske. In total, on this part of the front, the number of enemy attempts to improve their tactical positions has reached 20.
Kurakhove axis: fighting continues in the Krasnohorivka area.
Prydniprovska axis: since the beginning of the day, Ukrainian defenders repelled two enemy attacks in the Krynky area.
In the rest of the axes, the situation underwent no significant changes.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, Russian troops tried to advance in the Paraskoviyvka area on the Kurakhiv axis, achieving no gains.
