In the early hours of Monday, June 10, Ukraine’s Defense Forces engaged a Russian S-400 air defense system deployed near temporarily occupied Crimea’s Dzhankoy, as well as two S-300 air defense divisions system outside Chornomorske and Yevpatoria.
That’s according to the General Staff of Ukraine’s Armed Forces, Ukrinform reports.
"None of our launched missiles was intercepted by the enemy's ‘highly effective’ air defenses," the General Staff emphasized.
Immediately after the strikes, enemy radars went off, monitoring proved.
Ammunition detonation was recorded on all three impact sites.
"Thanks to the successful combat performance by Ukraine’s Defense Forces, Russia’s air defense network in the Ukrainian Crimea sustained significant losses," the General Staff noted.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, in temporarily occupied Sevastopol, the Russians deployed S-300 air defense systems in the residential quarter.
