Ukrainian Defense Forces repel 14 Russian assaults in south overnight
The Southern Defense Forces of Ukraine reported this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
"Over the past day, the occupiers made eight assaults in the Orikhiv direction. They were unsuccessful," the message reads.
On the left bank of the Dnipro River in the temporarily seized part of the Kherson region, Russian troops made six assaults, but suffered losses and retreated to their original positions.
As noted, the Russians have significantly reduced the use of reconnaissance drones, with 80 drones flying overhead in a day.
Russian troops carried out artillery shelling, launched numerous strikes using guided aerial bombs, attack drones of various types, and are constantly conducting aerial reconnaissance.
The invaders continue to terrorize the residents of the frontline territories of Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions. Over the past day, the Russian military used 202 FPV drones, and 18 Lancet attack drones, and dropped 411 shrapnel munitions from drones of various modifications.
