Thanks to our brigade artillery, the tank was stopped at one of the checkpoints before infantrymen from the mechanized battalion captured the crew and took control of the tank. As negotiations with the crew were underway, the driver barricaded himself inside, wielding a grenade in a bid to blow up the tank. However, our infantrymen found strong arguments to convince him it is better to live than to die," the report reads.
