Stefanchuk announced this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
"I had a conversation in the format of a video conference with the newly elected President of the National Assembly of Bulgaria Raya Nazaryan," he said.
The Speaker of the Ukrainian Parliament congratulated his colleague on his election and thanked Bulgaria for its consistent support of Ukraine, in particular for all the decisions taken by the Parliament and the Government aimed at strengthening the defense capabilities of the Ukrainian state to counter Russian aggression.
During the conversation, the speakers discussed the continuation and maintenance of high-level interparliamentary cooperation.
Stefanchuk also invited Nazaryan to visit Kyiv.
At the same time, Stefanchuk said, the main focus was on the NATO parliamentary summit, which will also take place in Washington in early July. He expressed his belief that this event could make a significant contribution to the realization of Ukraine's Euro-Atlantic goals.
