Ukrainian air defense shoots down two enemy Kalibr missiles overnight

Ukrainian air defense units intercepted and destroyed two Kalibr missiles launched by Russia from the Sea of Azov on the night of June 22 to 23.

According to Ukrinform, Air Force Commander Mykola Oleshchuk reported this on Telegram.

"On the night of June 23, 2024, the enemy attacked with three Kalibr sea-launched cruise missiles from the Sea of Azov. Two missiles were shot down by anti-aircraft missile units of the Air Force in the Kyiv region," he posted.

As reported, an air alert was declared in Kyiv and some regions due to the launch of Kalibr missiles by Russian forces.
