Kalibr strike: over 40 households, hospital, gas station damaged in Kyiv region

In the Obukhiv district of Kyiv region, 33 private houses and apartments in six residential blocks sustained damage from downed Russian missiles’ debris. Two more houses were destroyed.

That’s according to the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, Ruslan Kravchenko, Ukrinform reports.

According to the official, two residents sought medical help with minor injuries that did not require hospitalization.

Kravchenko noted that the debris left hospital premises and a number of administrative buildings damaged, including an employment center, a heating distribution facility, an enterprise, a driving school, a pharmacy, a gas station, a shop, a hotel, and nine vehicles.

Windows, balconies, doors, facades and roofs were affected.

Psychologists with the State Emergency Service provided assistance to 35 civilians, including six children.

Representatives from the administration and the local community are processing reports from those affected by the strike to consider covering damage.

GEM International Foundation will replace windows in damaged apartment blocks and hospitals.

The Andrii Zasukha Charity will repair roofs on damaged properties, as well as replace windows in the residential area.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, on June 23, the Air Defense Forces shot down two Russian Kalibr sea-based cruise missiles over Kyiv region.

The administration chief reported earlier that six apartment blocks and over 20 private houses were damaged by the debris.
