Southern defense forces repel 17 Russian assaults in past day

In the operational zone of the Southern Defense Forces, Ukrainian defenders repelled nine Russian assaults in the Orikhiv sector and another eight on the left bank of the Dnipro River yesterday.
According to Ukrinform, the Southern Defense Forces of Ukraine reported this in on Telegram.
As noted, Russian invaders do not give up their attempts to dislodge Ukrainian units from their positions.
"The occupiers made nine assaults in the Orikhiv sector. They were unsuccessful," the report says.
On the left bank of the Dnipro River in the temporarily occupied part of the Kherson region, Russian troops conducted eight assaults near Krynky village, suffered losses and retreated to their initial positions.
Over the past the day, 248 enemy reconnaissance drones were spotted flying over the operational area.
As reported by Ukrinform, there have been 71 combat clashes on the front lines since the beginning of the day.
