Injury toll in Russian strike on Kharkiv rises to 10, half of city without electricity

Oleh Syniehubov, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, said this in a post on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"Ten people were injured. One person died. Among the injured are two teenagers aged 15 and 16," Syniehubov wrote.

According to him, two of the victims are in serious condition. One person sustained moderate injuries.

The private residential sector and a children's educational institution were hit.

"Half of Kharkiv's consumers have been left without electricity. Specialists are already working to restore the power supply," noted Syniehubov.

As reported, on June 23, around 15:00, Russia launched an air strike on Kharkiv. According to the city council and the regional administration, critical infrastructure and the private residential sector were hit.

Following the strikes, the subway and ground transport stopped operation. There was no electricity or water supply in parts of the city.

As of 15:30, one person was reported dead and four wounded.
