Senior-age woman wounded as Russia shells village in Zaporizhzhia region

An 87-year-old woman was wounded by Russian shelling in the Polohy district, Zaporizhzhia region.
That’s according to Ivan Fedorov, chief of the regional administration, Ukrinform reports.
"The Russians left an 87-year-old woman injured. The enemy shelled the village of Verkhnyia Tersa, Polohy district, Zaporizhzhia region. They damaged the homes of our peaceful people," the post on social media reads.
At the time of the impact, the elderly woman was out in her backyard.
"With shrapnel wounds to her legs, the woman was rushed to hospital," Fedorov said.
As reported earlier, an energy engineer who was injured as a result of a missile attack on June 22 died in the hospital in Zaporizhzhia region.
