Explosions rang out in temporarily occupied Crimea late on Sunday, June 23.

That's according to Ukraine's public broadcaster Suspilne Crimea, Ukrinform reports.

"I heard two very powerful explosions in the city. The windows were shaking in my home, and the sirens of ambulances and police cars could be heard in the city," a resident of Yevpatoria told Suspilne.

The occupation governor of the city, Mikhail Razvozhaiev, reported on Telegram that an air raid alert was issued in Sevastopol at 22:03.

According to the Telegram channel Crimean Wind, about eight explosions were heard in Zaozerne, Yevpatoria and Donuzlav.

Many ambulances were reportedly heading towards Vitino.

Explosions were also heard in Molochne.

According to the Telegram channel, there was a strike on the military unit between Molochne and Uiutne.
