Gas pipeline damaged by Russian shelling restored in Kherson suburb

In Antonivka, a suburb of Kherson, a gas pipeline damaged by Russian shelling on June 21 has been restored.

The head of the Kherson City Military Administration, Roman Mrochko, reported this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"The gas pipeline has been restored in Antonivka, a suburb of Kherson," Mrochko said.

According to him, more than a thousand households were left without gas supply, but over the weekend emergency repair work was carried out, and gas is now being restored to the village, and the quality of the work is being checked to prevent new leaks.

Mrochko noted that Antonivka has been without electricity for almost a year and a half due to Russian aggression, and water is supplied on schedule using generators.

As reported, on the night of June 24, Russian troops shelled the village of Stepanivka, Kherson region, killing one civilian and injuring two others.
