Finnish Foreign Minister Elina Valtonen said that work on the next package of sanctions against Russia due to its war in Ukraine will begin immediately.

According to Ukrinform, the minister said this during a meeting of the EU Foreign Affairs Council in Luxembourg.

"Now I am grateful for the 14th package of sanctions, and yes, the negotiations took a lot of time. But the sanctions package is very extensive at the same time and, of course, all countries have their own opinions that need to be taken into account. But I am very happy that this package is now in place, and of course, work on the next package of sanctions will begin immediately," said Valtonen.
