Ukrainian forces stopped enemy offensive in Kharkiv region - Zelensky
Ukrinform
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said that Ukrainian forces stopped the Russian offensive in the Kharkiv region, although the situation there is not easy.
He told this to journalists following a meeting with Slovenian President Natasa Pirc Musar in Kyiv on Friday, Ukrinform reports.
"We talked about the situation on the battlefield, particularly about the Kharkiv sector, where Russia tried to launch a large-scale offensive. The occupier did not succeed. Our Ukrainian forces stabilized the situation and stopped the offensive, although it is not easy there. This is how we should continue to act," Zelensky said.
He added that "we should deprive Russia of illusions that the war will give it something."
