Enemy shelling kills four, injures ten in Kherson region

Russian forces shelled Kherson and 22 other towns and villages in the Kherson region on June 28, killing four people and injuring ten others.

Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the region's military administration, said this in a post on the Telegram messaging app, Ukrinform reports.

"In the past 24 hours, enemy fire and airstrikes targeted Shliakhove, Odradokamianka, Novokairy, Yantarne, Darivka, Mykilske, Novooleksandrivka, Bilousove, Krupytsia, Bilozerka, Novoberyslav, Lvove, Mykhailivka, Tomyna Balka, Zolota Balka, Komyshany, Naddniprianske, Antonivka, Sadove, Tiahynka, Novotiahynka, Olhivka, and Kherson. Four people were killed and ten injured due to Russian aggression," Prokudin said.

According to him, the Russian military targeted residential areas in the region's towns and villages, damaging an apartment building and 22 private houses. Stores and a gas pipeline were struck.

The regional military administration added that Russian invaders had shelled the Kherson city community six times. Six private houses, a store, three civilian cars and a gas station were damaged.

According to the report, damage due to shelling was recorded in Kherson, Komyshany, and Naddniprianske. Five people were injured in the Kherson community. All of them received medical care.

On June 28, Russia's shelling of the village of Novooleksandrivka killed one woman and injured another and damaged a rescue vehicle.
