General Staff: 170 combat clashes on front lines in past day
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said this in a war update on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
According to the update, on June 28, the enemy hit the positions of Ukrainian troops as well as cities and villages with two missile strikes (using three missiles) and 88 airstrikes (using 150 guided aerial bombs). The enemy also carried out almost 4,400 shelling attacks, including 110 attacks using multiple rocket launchers, and more than 1,200 kamikaze drone attacks.
In the past day, Ukrainian aircraft and missile and artillery forces hit two Russian artillery pieces, four air defense systems, two EW stations and 11 enemy troop concentration areas.
Russia's total combat losses in Ukraine from February 24, 2022 to June 29, 2024 amounted to about 541,560, including 1,070 killed or wounded in action in the last 24 hours.
