Enemy fired 37 times on border of Sumy and Chernihiv regions over last day

Over the past day, Russian troops fired 37 times from various types of weapons at the border areas of Chernihiv and Sumy regions, with a total of 120 explosions.

According to Ukrinform, the operational command "Pivnich" reported this on Facebook.

In the Chernihiv region, Halahanivka, Bleshnya, Leonivka, and Yeline came under enemy fire.

According to preliminary reports, the Russian army was firing from mortars, high-explosive fragmentation munitions and FPV drones.

In the Sumy region, Zhuravka, Velyka Rybytsia, Mohrytsia, Pavlivka, Loknya, Porozok, Myropilske, Myropillia, Digtyarne, Volodymyrivka, Bilopillia, Iskryskivka, Petrushivka, Popivka, Seredyna-Buda, and Nova Huta came under enemy fire.

It has been preliminarily established that the invaders attacked these settlements using cannon artillery, FPV drones, mortars and high-explosive fragmentation munitions.

As reported by Ukrinform, Russian troops fired eight times at the border communities of Sumy region at night and in the morning of July 2, 28 explosions were recorded.
