Ukraine's air defenses intercept 21 of 22 kamikaze drones launched by Russia overnight

Ukraine's air defense forces shot down 21 out of 22 Russian Shahed attack drones on the night of July 3 to 4.

Lieutenant General Mykola Oleshchuk, Commander of the Ukrainian Air Force, announced this on the Telegram messaging app, Ukrinform reports.

According to him, the Russians attacked Ukraine overnight with 22 Shahed-131/136 drones launched from the Kursk region.

Anti-aircraft missile units, mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces and EW units of the Ukrainian Air Force shot down 21 Shahed drones in the Kyiv, Chernihiv, Zhytomyr, Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk and Poltava regions.
