In Dnipro, rubble of high-rise building attacked by Russia is being dismantled for seventh day

Rescuers have dismantled 90% of the rubble of a high-rise building in Dnipro, which was attacked by Russia on June 28.

This was reported in Telegram by the head of the Dnipro Regional State Administration Serhiy Lysak, Ukrinform reports.

"A multi-storey building in Dnipro has been destroyed. Rescuers have been working there for seven days. They work non-stop. Twenty-four hours a day. They are climbing to the top of the damaged building and dismantling the rubble. Almost 90% of the work has been completed," the post reads.

It is noted that more than 1,600 tons of construction debris were removed from the attacked building, which is being cleaned up by utility workers. Also, 45 apartments were inspected, to which access was gained.

"I am grateful to the regional team of the State Emergency Service and everyone involved in the aftermath of the enemy attacks. You are taking on a difficult task - physically and emotionally. But you keep going because you know how important it is," Lysak added.

As Ukrinform reported, on June 28, Russian troops fired a missile at a 9-story building in Dnipro. Four floors of the building were destroyed. Three people were killed and 12 injured, including a pregnant woman and a seven-month-old baby.
