Ukrainian air defense shoots down all 32 enemy Shahed UAVs overnight

On the night of July 5, 2024, the Russian occupiers attacked Ukraine with 32 Shahed-131/136 combat UAVs from Russia’s Kursk and Primorsko-Akhtarsk regions.

According to Ukrinform, Air Force Commander Mykola Oleshchuk reported this on Telegram.

The enemy attack was repelled by fighter aircraft, anti-aircraft missile units and EW units of the Air Force, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

During the night, the defenders of the sky shot down all 32 Shahed UAVs in the Mykolaiv, Odesa, Kherson, Dnipropetrovsk, Kyiv, Chernihiv, and Cherkasy regions.

As reported, Russian troops launched several groups of combat drones from the northern and southern directions.
