Russian army loses 1,150 soldiers in Ukraine in past day

Russia lost about 550,990 troops in Ukraine between February 24, 2022 and July 7, 2024, including 1,150 soldiers killed or wounded in action in the past 24 hours.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said this in a post on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
In addition, Ukraine's defense forces destroyed 8,155 (+2) Russian tanks, 15,645 (+16) armored fighting vehicles, 14,937 (+40) artillery systems, 1,115 multiple rocket launchers, 879 (+1) anti-aircraft warfare systems, and 2,352 (+1) cruise missiles. The Russian army also lost 360 warplanes, 326 helicopters, 11,862 (+53) tactical unmanned aerial systems, 28 warships/cutters, 1 submarine, 20,103 (+50) vehicles and fuel tankers, and 2,495 (+16) pieces of special equipment.
