Russian army carries out four assaults on Orikhiv axis, five assaults on east bank of Dnipro

On the southern front, the Russian army carried out four assaults in the Orikhiv sector and five on the east bank of the Dnipro River in the past 24 hours.

Ukraine's Southern Defense Forces reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"In the operational zone of the Southern Defense Forces, counter-battery clashes continue and enemy assaults are repelled every day. The Defense Forces continue to carry out comprehensive measures to hold their positions," the post reads.

In particular, the invaders carried out four unsuccessful assaults in the Orikhiv sector.

On the east bank of the Dnipro River, in the temporarily captured part of the Kherson region, the enemy carried out five assaults. Having suffered losses, the enemy retreated to original positions.

Over the past day, the flight of 234 reconnaissance drones was recorded in the operational zone of the Southern Defense Forces.

Continuing the terror of the civilian population in the front-line territories of the Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson and Mykolaiv regions, the enemy used 148 FPV drones, four Lancet attack UAVs, and dropped 271 fragmentation munitions from UAVs of various modifications.
