Ukrinform
From the NATO summit in Washington, which is to be held on July 9-11, Ukraine expects a "significant step" on the way to membership in the Alliance.

According to Ukrinform, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said this at a joint press conference in Kyiv with the new Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands, Caspar Veldkamp, Radio Svoboda reports.

"Our expectation from the summit that the set of decisions that will be made there will mean two things: a significant strengthening of our defense capabilities, especially in the field of air defense, and a significant step towards NATO membership. I will stop there for now," Kuleba said in response to a question about Kyiv's "maximum program" at the NATO summit, and what the head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry expects from this event.
