Ukraine is working to organize the exchange of more than 400 Ukrainian women who are still in Russian captivity.

Dmytro Lubinets, the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights, said this, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.

"According to our information, more than 400 Ukrainian women remain in Russian captivity as prisoners of war. We have repeatedly raised this issue, and I personally spoke with Moskalkova (Russian Ombudsman - ed.) to organize a separate exchange for the return of women," Lubinets said.

"We are working to organize the second such large exchange, where Ukrainian women, Ukrainian female heroes, will return. The United Arab Emirates is helping us. We can say this publicly," Lubinets added.

As Ukrinform reported, on October 17, 2022, 108 women returned to Ukraine from Russian captivity.
