Ukraine downs all six killer drones launched by Russia overnight Thursday

In the early hours of Thursday, July 11, Ukraine’s air defense forces intercepted Russian kamikaze drones over Mykolaiv, Khmelnytskyi, Lviv, and Ivano-Frankivsk regions.
That’s according to Air Force Commander Lieutenant General Mykola Oleshchuk, Ukrinform reports.
The enemy hit Sumy region with two Iskander-M ballistic missiles launched from Kursk region, and also launched with six Shahed-131/136 UAVs from Primorsk-Akhtarsk.
Fighter jets, anti-aircraft missile units of the Air Force, and mobile air defense groups of Ukraine’s Defense Forces were involved in repelling the attack.
As reported, an air alert was declared in a number of northern and eastern regions of Ukraine due to the threat of ballistic strikes.
