
Russian army kills 561 children in Ukraine
“On July 12, a 15-year-old boy was killed and two children aged 13 were injured as a result of a missile attack on Myrnohrad, Donetsk region,” the PGO’s press service reported.
On July 10, a 13-year-old boy was injured as a result of artillery shelling in Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk region.
In total, according to the PGO, more than 2,017 children have been affected as a result of Russia's full-scale armed aggression in Ukraine.
As of the morning of July 12, 2024, according to official information from juvenile prosecutors, 561 children were killed and more than 1,456 suffered injuries of varying degrees.
Most children were affected in the Donetsk region - 562, Kharkiv region - 404, Kherson region - 154, Dnipropetrovsk region - 158, Kyiv - 131, Zaporizhzhia region - 121.
As reported by Ukrinform, on July 11, Russian troops struck Myrnohrad and Raihorodok in the Donetsk region, killing a teenager and injuring 17 people.
