AFU tell about Russian tactics during assaults in Toretsk sector

The enemy conducts most of the assaults in the Toretsk sector in small groups, using little armoured vehicles.

According to Ukrinform, this was stated by Nazar Voloshyn, spokesman for the Khortytsia separate military unit, on the air of the national telethon "United News".

"Recently, the enemy has reduced the emphasis of assault operations on Chasiv Yar. It has moved more to the Toretsk direction. Most of the attacks - 19 - were conducted in the Toretsk sector," said Voloshyn.

According to him, most of the attacks are conducted by small groups, armoured vehicles are used sparingly. At the same time, Russians fired 238 times at Ukrainian positions in the Toretsk sector from various types of weapons over the last day on 12 July.

In the Kramatorsk sector, 11 attacks were repelled over the past day, including near Chasiv Yar. A total of 325 attacks from various types of weapons were registered, mostly Russians attacked the southern part of the city.

Voloshyn noted that the brigades operating on the contact line lack soldiers, so they are actively recruiting.

As reported, Russian troops are concentrating in Donetsk region and are continuing their attempts to destroy Chasiv Yar.
