SBU behind latest drone attack on Russian oil depot - source

That’s according to a source in Ukraine’s law enforcement, Ukrinform reports.

The source says SBU drones hit the facility where various brands of gasoline and diesel fuel with a total volume of 12,500 cubic meters were stored. This night, locals heard an explosion, followed by a massive fire.

As reported earlier, nearly 50 firefighters and 14 firetrucks scrambled to put out the blaze.

"SBU drones continue to introduce targeted economic sanctions against Russia's energy sector, which is fueling the war in Ukraine. More than three dozen successful strikes on Russian oil depots and refineries have already significantly reduced Russia’s oil refining and income. And these sanctions will only eb strengthened," the informed source told Ukrinform.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, in Russia’s Krasnodar Territory, two oil depots caught fire in the early hours of July 6 after a drone attack. A mobile communications tower was also damaged.
