Two people killed in Kharkiv region over 24 hours as result of Russian strikes, 28 more injured

In the Kharkiv region, two people were killed and 28 others were injured in Russian strikes over the past day.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported on Facebook by the head of the Kharkiv regional state administration, Oleh Syniehubov.

According to him, Russians shelled Kupyansk twice over the past day, and two women were injured. An apartment building was damaged by an FPV drone strike. A former hatchery burned down as a result of an MLRS attack, and four private houses were damaged.

A woman was wounded in Kupyansk-Vuzlove. The roof of a two-storey building burned as a result of the shelling.

A truck was on fire in the village of Prystin as a result of shelling.

According to the head of the regional state administration, at 15:40 in Budy, Kharkiv district, two Iskanders hit the ground near the railway station. 25 people were injured, including two children - a 14-year-old girl and a 9-year-old boy. The girl's condition is moderate, she is in hospital.

26 residential buildings, 9 administrative buildings, two cars, a railway station building, three auxiliary buildings and a railway track were damaged. The head of the Kharkiv District Department of the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service in Kharkiv Region, Artem Kostyria, and a police officer of the patrol police response sector, Oleksiy Koshchiy, were killed.

As Syniehubov added in his Telegram post, the Russians fired 53 guided aerial bombs, two Iskander-M missiles, one FPV drone and one Shahed UAV at Kharkiv region over the course of a day.

As reported by Ukrinform, on the evening of 13 July, the Russian army attacked the railway infrastructure in Kharkiv region, injuring five workers.
