Russians shell Bilopillia in Sumy region, two wounded

Russian troops shelled Bilopillia, Sumy region, for half an hour with a Grad multiple rocket launcher system, injuring two residents.

According to Ukrinform, the Office of the Prosecutor General reported this on Facebook.

According to the investigation, on 14 July, from 17:00 for 30 minutes, the enemy, according to preliminary data, fired at residential areas of Bilopillia, Sumy district, using Grad multiple rocket launchers.

As a result of the attack, two residents were wounded. A multi-storey building, private houses, garages and a power line were damaged.

Prosecutors, in cooperation with other law enforcement agencies, are documenting the consequences of the shelling.

Under the procedural supervision of the Bilopillia Department of the Sumy District Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation is being conducted into the violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

Subsequently, the criminal proceedings will be transferred to the SSU Office in Sumy region.

As reported by Ukrinform, on 14 July, air defence forces shot down a Russian cruise missile over Sumy region.
