Russians massively cancel tours to Crimea - DIU

Ukrinform
The difficult security situation on the territory of the temporarily occupied Crimea has led to massive cancellations of holiday tours to the peninsula's resorts.

This was reported by the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, Ukrinform reports.

According to the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, almost 80% of Russians have cancelled tours to the occupied Sevastopol scheduled for June this year. The Crimean-wide rate of cancellations of already booked tours last month was more than a third.

"First of all, the Russians who changed their minds about holidaying on the occupied Crimean coasts are worried about the difficult security situation caused by the occupation," the intelligence service said.

It is noted that, among other things, the unreliable and deadly work of the invaders' air defence has affected the mass refusal of Russian citizens to holiday in Crimea.

Another risk factor is the illegally built Kerch Bridge, which remains the main artery for tourism from Russia and is used by Moscow for military logistics.

As reported by Ukrinform, the Ukrainian volunteer army "South" stated that an appropriate resource of firepower would be accumulated to destroy the Crimean bridge, it would be a comprehensive approach.
