Two dead, medics among wounded: Kherson RSA shows consequences of shelling of Bilozerka

Two doctors were wounded in the shelling of Bilozerka - one of them was injured in her own apartment, the other was injured while providing assistance to the victims.

According to Ukrinform, the head of the regional state administration (RSA), Oleksandr Prokudin, posted this on Facebook.

"Bilozerka after massive strikes by Russian rocket artillery... As of this hour, two people have been killed and five injured," the post reads.

According to Prokudin, a 43-year-old man was taken to hospital with explosive injuries, concussion, shrapnel wounds to the back of the head and thigh.

A 69-year-old healthcare worker was injured in her own apartment due to the shock wave. She sustained contusion, concussion and blast injury. The victim was provided with medical aid on the spot.

The local residents, aged 52 and 39, suffered contusions and blast injuries. They were also provided with the necessary assistance on the spot.

In addition, a paramedic who was helping the victims was hit by a Russian drone. The 26-year-old woman was hospitalised with explosive injuries and concussion.

According to the regional prosecutor's office, there are 2 dead and 11 wounded in Bilozerka.

As reported by Ukrinform, the Russian military shelled the village of Bilozerka in Kherson region, firing about forty shells. Two women were killed.

Also on 19 July, Russians fired at an ambulance in the suburbs of Kherson, injuring two people.
