Landmark event: Ukraine's Air Force says Iskander missile intercepted over Odesa region

Ukraine's air defense forces have managed to intercept an Iskander missile that the Russian army used to attack the Odesa region on Thursday, July 18.

Ukrainian Air Force spokesperson Dmytro Pletenchuk announced this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

According to him, this is a landmark event.

"Several previous missiles hit our port infrastructure," Pletenchuk said.

On the evening of July 18, explosions were heard during an air raid alert in Odesa.

The Ukrainian Air Force warned about the threat of Russia's use of ballistic missiles.
