It's very important for Ukraine to have partner like the United Kingdom - Zelensky

President Volodymyr Zelensky stressed that during his two-day visit to Britain, the main topics were Ukrainian range, the Maritime Security Strategy, the development of a coalition of Ukraine's maritime capabilities, and defense cooperation.

According to Ukrinform, the head of the Ukrainian state announced the results of the negotiations on Telegram.

 "It is very important and symbolic for Ukraine and Ukrainians to have such a strong and unwavering partner as the United Kingdom. With every page of this war, our cooperation provides more solutions to repel tyranny, and Britain's leadership inspires other countries. We must not slow down our determination in the future," Zelensky stressed.

He noted that Ukraine's long-range capability, the Maritime Security Strategy, the development of a coalition of Ukraine's maritime capabilities, and defense cooperation are steps that we can take together and that can bring a just peace closer.

The President thanked the UK and Prime Minister Keir Starmer for supporting Ukraine and Ukrainians.

As Ukrinform reported, on July 18-19, the President of Ukraine visited the United Kingdom. On July 18, he took part in the summit of the European Political Community.

Zelensky also had an audience with King Charles III of the United Kingdom, held talks with the new Prime Minister, Keir Starmer, and became the first foreign guest to attend a British government meeting this century.
