War update: 58 combat clashes in Ukraine since day-start

Since the beginning of the day, 58 combat clashes have taken place at the front. The enemy is most active in the Kharkiv, Kupiansk, and Pokrovsk axes.

That’s according to the General Staff of Ukraine’s Armed Forces, Ukrinform reports.

According to the General Staff, the invaders are using all available forces and means to achieve their goals in the three directions indicated.

"Our indomitable defenders stand in the way of the invaders’ plans, inflicting in extremely difficult conditions irreparable losses on the enemy with their professional efforts," the report reads.

As noted, nine settlements in Sumy and Chernihiv regions were affected by enemy attacks today, including Uhroidy, Obiednane, Turia, Oleksandrivka, Oleksiivka, Myropyllia, Liskivshchyna, Stepok, and Mohrytsia.

The Russians attacked the Kharkiv region using seven gliding bombs, targeting the areas of Vovchansk, Lyptsi, Borshchova, and Hlyboke.

The Russian army struck Dekhtiarne with unguided aerial missiles.

Since the beginning of the day, in the Kharkiv axis, the Russian army has tried seven times to storm the Ukrainian defense lines in the area of ​​Hlyboke and Vovchansk. Ukraine has repelled all assaults.

In the Kupyansk axis, the invaders assaulted Ukraine’s positions seven times in the areas of ​​Synkivka, Stelmakhivka, Berestove, and Andriivka. Two clashes are still ongoing as Ukrainian troops are holding the lines.

In the Lyman axis, the Russian army carried out five attacks on defenders' positions near Makiivka and Terny. In three combat engagements, Russia saw no success while another two are ongoing.

Ukrainian defenders repelled three enemy attacks in the Siversk axis near Verkhniokamyanskye and Vyimka.

In the Kramatorsk axis, Russian troops twice stormed the positions of Ukraine’s Defense Forces near Andriivka. The battle is underway and the situation is Ukraine’s under control, the report reads.

In the Toretsk axis, the number of enemy attacks increased to four. The Russians focus their efforts on the areas of Pivnichne, Toretsk, and New York. Four clashes were reported, of which three are underway.

Russian troops actively use aviation on this part of the front, having bombarded the areas of Severne, Toretsk, and New York. Since day-start, the invaders have already dropped 13 gliding bombs on the said areas.

The greatest number of clashes took place in the Pokrovsk axis. Russia has already tried, with air support, to push Ukraine’s units from their positions near Prohres, Novoselivka Persha, Vozdvyzhenka, Novo-oleksandrivka, Kalynove, ​​and Umanske.

"The defense forces are restraining the onslaught and have so far repelled 16 enemy attacks, and seven skirmishes are ongoing. Enemy losses are being verified," the General Staff wrote.

It is noted that in the Kurakhove axis, fighting continues near Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, and Karlivka. According to an update, Ukrainian defenders repelled four enemy attacks in the area.

In the Vremivka axis, the Russians actively employ aviation. The areas of Vuhledar, Katerynivka, Urozhaine, and Staromaiorske were targeted in enemy attacks.

In the Orikhiv axis, the Russian army made three unsuccessful attempts to attack Ukraine’s positions near Robotyne and toward Novodanylivka. The invaders also dropped two gliding bombs on Stepnohirsk.

In the Prydniprovia axis, Russian troops hit Tyahinka, Tomaryne, and Burhunka areas with gliding bombs.
