The Cabinet of Ministers is discussing how to optimize its composition and plans to strengthen the Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Olha Stefanishyna.

Stefanishyna told reporters about this, a Ukrinform correspondent reports.

She confirmed that the government is continuing discussions on optimizing the composition of the government and ministries.

“At the moment, we are not talking about any specific positions that I am applying for or would apply for - neither the Ministry of Justice nor any other ministry. Our task was first and foremost to open negotiations and hold a successful NATO summit,” Stefanishyna said.

The deputy prime minister noted that “no personnel issues were discussed... we simply did not have time.”

“But, of course, from time to time you will see certain decisions regarding the optimization of the government, and my strengthening is planned,” the official emphasized.

As reported, during a press conference last week, answering a question about possible reshuffles in the government, President Volodymyr Zelensky said that he was discussing certain changes with some ministers.
